We are pleased to offer a women-only class designed for those who have experiences of trauma. It is our hope in
providing trauma-sensitive yoga that students will explore breathing, stretching, strengthening, and resting as tools to notice what we feel in our mind and body.
Often, those who have suffered trauma endure a long healing process, both mentally and physically. Emphasis in this sensitive yoga series is to create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and begin to rebuild your body and spirit. By developing a positive relationship with the body and learning calming techniques, students may learn strategies to deal with triggers in a safe manner.
Students in this class are in control of their body at all times. The instructor will offer suggestions and safe variations of all poses. This practice is one of self love and awareness, allowing students to make choices with their bodies.
No experience necessary. $25 for both sessions.
